Skin reflects what happens inside
Ayurveda sees the skin as a mirror of digestion, blood and the balance of the doshas, especially Pitta. Breakouts, dryness, itching and dullness often get worse with poor sleep, stress, heat, an unsettled stomach and certain foods. Good skin care starts with simple habits, inside and out.
This guide covers common habits and explains where an Ayurvedic skin syrup may fit. It is general information and does not replace a dermatologist.
Keep your skin routine simple
Wash your face and body gently with a mild cleanser, do not scrub hard and moisturise if your skin is dry. Protect against strong sun. Use clean towels and pillow covers and avoid sharing them. Do not squeeze or pick at spots, which can leave marks.
Eat for your skin
Fresh fruit, vegetables, dal and plenty of water are the base. Amla, papaya and leafy greens are traditional favourites. Many people find that very spicy, oily, fermented or sugary food and too much tea or coffee make their skin worse. Notice what happens in your own case.
Sleep, stress and sweat
A steady sleep time, regular exercise and some way to relax help the skin as much as any cream. After sweating, wash and change clothes. In hot, humid weather keep skin folds clean and dry.
About Epiclaris
Epiclaris is an Ayurvedic syrup (200 ml) that helps support skin health from within. The pack lists Majith, Haridra, Neem Chhal, Sunthi, Amla, Pipada Chhal, Karanj Chhal, Vijaysar, Kher Chhal, Katuki, Ghodavaj, Chitrak, Bhringaraj, Anatmool, Kuvadiya Beej and Kantakari.
Majith (Manjistha), Neem, Haridra (turmeric) and Anatmool are widely used in Ayurveda for skin wellbeing. Amla is valued for vitamin C and antioxidants, and Bhringaraj is traditionally used for skin repair. Katuki and Vijaysar are used in classical formulas for skin comfort. The product page lists the dosage and pack information.
Making the most of your visit
Before you start Epiclaris, write down the medicines and supplements you already take, any allergies, and any conditions you have been told about. Ask your physician three things: whether Epiclaris suits you, how long to use it, and which signs mean you should stop and call. Bring the pack so the ingredient list can be read together. Ayurvedic medicines are meant to fit into your overall care, and your physician can adjust the plan if your needs change.
Habits matter more than any single product. Pick one or two changes from this guide, keep them for a few weeks and see how you feel. Small, steady changes are easier to keep than a long list.
Pack and ordering
You can read the full ingredient list, dosage and pack information on the product page for Epiclaris. It comes as a 200 ml bottle of syrup. When to see a doctor
See a doctor or a dermatologist if a rash spreads quickly, a patch does not heal, there is pus, fever or severe pain, a mole changes, or a skin problem keeps coming back. Some skin conditions need tests and specific treatment. Tell your physician about any creams and medicines you already use.
These are Ayurvedic proprietary medicines for sale in India. Use them only under medical supervision.
