Caraka Samhita (Volume 3: Critical Notes)
This volume contains critical notes (Sutrasthana to Indriyasthana) incorporating the views of four commentators — Jejjata, Cakrapadidatta, Gangadhara, and Yogindranath. The former two representing the early medieval period while the latter representing the modern period. In the critical notes, views of the above commentators have been discussed and in most cases, the author has also given their own views.
Caraka Samhita (Volume 1: Sutrasthåna to Indriyasthåna)
Caraka-samhitå starts with the chapter dealing with the promotion of life. For this, there is a special branch, Rasåyana, which has been dealt with in detail in the first chapter of the section on therapeutics. In the second chapter, there is a description of the formulations useful for the promotion of fertility and progeny.
